KAOS stands for Katrin Ostermeier - and for chaos as a source of possibilities and potential. Supporting teams in their growth and development is something I truly care about.
I help teams unlock their potential and resources, uncover and resolve barriers or sources of conflict, and strengthen their team spirit with intention and focus.
As a trained mediator, I can confidently guide even demanding and tense situations.
I coach teams indoors and outdoors — in mountain chalets, in nature, or in a classic worhshop room; in Munich and directly at my clients’ workplaces; in person, virtual, and hybrid - in German and English.
I design my team coachings like a pit stop: we pause, step back, and look at collaboration from the outside. Together we create a safe space where contributions and perspectives can be seen and discussed openly.
New perspectives help teams appreciate their diversity and better integrate the unique strengths of each member — fostering understanding and mutual respect.
And just as important: it can be fun! Playful elements make team dynamics tangible and invite shared reflection.
My team coachings are always tailor-made. Working with an external coach brings clarity, avoids role conflicts (for example, within leadership), and creates space to address key issues so that collaboration becomes both more effective and enjoyable.
For me, chaos isn’t a threat — it’s a powerful source of energy. It sparks movement, uncovers hidden talents, and inspires new ideas. The real art is finding a living balance between chaos and order — staying flexible, curious, and forward-looking.
Chaos simply means a state of confusion and lack of order — the opposite of cosmos, or harmony. KAOS stands for both: the ability to bring order into chaos and build new structures, and the courage to shake up old patterns so fresh perspectives and new connections can emerge.
In a working world that is constantly changing, teams need the ability to navigate uncertainty and realign themselves again and again. Team coaching helps build these skills: it creates a safe space to surface tensions, connect different perspectives, and find shared direction.
In this way, chaos doesn’t become an obstacle but an opportunity for growth, creativity, and collaboration. When teams learn to see change not as a threat but as an invitation, they develop resilience — and from diversity and dynamism, real strength emerges.
