KAOS stands for Katrin Ostermeier – and for chaos as a source of possibility and potential.
As a mediator based in Munich, I support individuals, teams and organisations in addressing conflicts constructively and regaining clarity and direction. Mediation offers a structured and confidential setting in which difficult matters can be explored openly and responsibly.Conflicts at work can be deeply unsettling. They affect wellbeing, motivation and the overall working atmosphere. When tensions escalate, communication often becomes strained and positions harden, making it increasingly difficult to move forward without external support.
Where there is conflict, there is often uncertainty. My role is to create a calm and impartial framework in which constructive dialogue becomes possible again. This is often the starting point for meaningful development.
Sessions take place in my coaching space in Munich, at your organisation, or online.
Conflicts tend to surface what has been left unaddressed. If approached thoughtfully, they can also open the door to greater clarity.
In mediation, I act as an independent and impartial third party. I guide the process and safeguard the structure, while the responsibility for decisions remains with those involved. The aim is not to determine who is right, but to enable workable and sustainable agreements.
I also work with leaders and individuals who wish to reflect on their own role within a conflict or strengthen their ability to deal with challenging situations.Conflicts bring tensions to the surface — and that is precisely where their potential lies. They reveal what requires attention.
If your focus is on personal development or individual professional challenges rather than resolving a conflict between several parties, Business Coaching may provide the more appropriate setting.

For me, chaos is not something to be feared. It often signals that something is shifting and requires attention.
KAOS stands for the ability to bring structure into complexity — and equally for the willingness to question established patterns when they no longer serve their purpose.
Balancing order and change is an ongoing task. Especially in times of transformation, it requires steadiness, reflection and a conscious approach to shaping what comes next.
In mediation, this perspective allows conflicts to be approached not merely as disruptions, but as opportunities for growth and renewed understanding.
